The Guild of Fine Art & Artists (GOFFA) is a non-profit public charitable trust that aim has been to bring the visual artists community in India together. It has provided the artists with an Indian platform to promote their Art. Also aims to broaden the audience for contemporary Indian art, enhance opportunities for artists and establish a continuous dialogue between the arts and the public through education and active participation in public art projects and funding.

It has planned to conduct ‘study circle’ & study tour’ for its member. It has also planned to organize various art activities, like Art Camp, Workshop, Exhibition and Fair to promote the art of it’s members.

Founders

The founders of the Guild of Fine Art & Artists (GOFFA) include Alok Roy, Narayan Das, Supriya Kundu, and Saibal Chatterjee. Alok Roy, an artist with a background in MNCs, rediscovered painting post-retirement. Narayan Das, a self-taught artist, is known for his finger-painting technique and curatorial work. Supriya Kundu, a contemporary artist, balances art with a government career. Saibal Chatterjee, founder of Pragati Art and Culture Institute, promotes artistic diversity.

Vision & Mission

GOFAA’s vision is to achieve global recognition for Indian art. Its mission is to provide a strong platform for developing and promoting Indian artists. Key objectives include organizing exhibitions, lectures, and study sessions, publishing art-related literature, expanding branches outside Kolkata, and inviting artists from India and abroad to join as life members. The organization also aims to enhance its library and art gallery for better accessibility and display.

Commitee
