GOFAA’s International Representative

After dedicating over 40 years to various sectors in Bahrain, he embarked on a new journey in arts and crafts. Through relentless practice and participation in numerous exhibitions, he has created over 300 original artworks in diverse mediums, with nearly 4000 pieces spread across the globe.

He is inspired by nature and the people around him, as each frame tells a unique story. He is also influenced by:

– Nandalal Bose (eminent art personality)
– Ramkinkar Baij (eminent sculptor and artist)
– Tarok Garai (living legend and sculptor)
– Family members (Son, Daughter & Daughter in law)

In his own word:
“I try to find rhythm in day-to-day modern chaos and enjoy creating abstract art with different levels of attention to color, precision, gesture, and recognizable or unrecognizable forms.”

His daughter, Soumi Sarkar, is his greatest artistic inspiration, followed by Rabindranath Tagore, under whose institution he began his educational journey.

Currently he is at 70+, still he continue to practice art regularly, wherever he go, driven by his passion for creativity and self-expression.

He is a owner of a beautiful mind, and well connected with visual and performing artists across the globe.
